    On accessing the abdealers.co.uk on this and on each subsequent occasion you will be deemed to have accepted all of the terms and conditions that apply to its use and to the facilities and services provided by it. We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time and it is your obligation to check if changes have been made. Your use of abdealers.co.uk after changes are posted online shall constitute acceptance of the new terms and conditions.

    Access to abdealers.co.uk is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on abdealers.co.uk without notice (see below). We will not be liable if for any reason our site is unavailable at any time or for any period.

    From time to time, we may restrict access to some parts of or the entire website (abdealers.co.uk), to users who have registered with us.

    In these terms and conditions:

    "we/us/our" means AB Dealers Limited trading as AB Dealers

    "you"/"your" means the user of our services


    AB Dealers is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Our FCA Register number is 945576. Our permitted business is advising and completing non-investment insurance contracts and financial services.     AB Dealers is a credit broker, not a lender. As an authorised credit broker AB Dealers has access to a panel of lenders which may be able to assist you in financing your car. There are other lenders to which we cannot introduce you which may also be able to offer you finance.  We are not independent financial advisers and so are unable to provide you with independent financial advice. We will provide you with information and explanations about the finance products that may be available to you and where we recommend a product to you, we will ensure that this is based on the information you give us about your needs and circumstances so that it is suitable for you. Finance is arranged subject to status and terms and conditions. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to secure finance for you.

    You do not have to pay us for our service, but a lender or broker we work with may pay us for introducing you to them. Different lenders/brokers may pay us different amounts but it will typically be based on a fixed percentage of the amount borrowed. This percentage may vary according to different factors, for example: the amount of credit; the age or type of vehicle; the type of finance product; or the lenders assessment of the risk of lending. For your reassurance, we are not able to change the interest rate you pay in order to receive more commission from a particular broker or funder. Although rates and commissions may vary between our finance partners, our aim is always to secure finance from them which is appropriate to your circumstances and at the lowest interest rate available. If we are successful in obtaining an offer of finance for you and you would like to know the amount (or likely amount) we would receive if you decided to go ahead with the agreement and how that amount has been calculated, please contact us using the details above.

    We will use your information to obtain quotes from lenders and brokers to process finance applications through them and we and/or they may also conduct a search of your record held with one or more credit reference agencies. Credit checks may as a result appear on your credit file lodged by organisations with whom you have not dealt directly. The personal information collected will also be shared with fraud prevention agencies who will use it to prevent fraud and money laundering and to verify your identity. If fraud is detected you could be refused certain services, finance or employment. We are registered as a data controller with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration number ZB353362.

    AB Dealers Online Reservation Tool

    We offer an online reservation facility for vehicles in our stock. If you have placed a reservation online on a vehicle but within 48 hours you no longer wish to proceed to a purchase of that vehicle then we will offer you a full refund.  The online reservation is not refundable if you wish to cancel after 48 hours passes.

    All refunds will be returned to the card which was used to make the original payment. We aim to have the full value returned to your account within 7 working days.


    The minimum required to secure a car is a £300 deposit, this is non-refundable, non-transferable and subject to statutory rights. 


    We accept all payment methods including card payments, cash and bank transfers. We do accept American Express, subject to 2% transaction fee. Please note that any cash payment above £2,000 is also subject to a 1.5% transaction fee. 

    Administration fee

    In the event you decide to purchase a vehicle from AB Dealers Ltd, a fee of £199.00 is made to cover the documentation and administrative costs and it is included in the total sale price. This is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. 

    Complaint and Feedback Procedure

    We are committed to providing a high standard of service to you and all our customers. Occasionally we may not live up to our expectations and if this happens we would like to hear from you. This will allow us to put matters right and make improvements. We value your feedback and thank you for helping us treat all our valued customers fairly.

    In the first instance, please share your concern and contact our Customer Claims Department using the contacts below. The Customer Service Department is open Monday to Friday 10 am - 4 pm.

    In the rare event, something goes wrong with your vehicle, please also email our Customer Claims Department ([email protected]) a picture of a vehicle's dashboard with current mileage visible and any light illuminating. Do not continue to drive the car as it is essential the condition of the vehicle is preserved to validate your claim. Please provide us with as many details as possible of any symptoms that indicate something is wrong. Do not forget to include your car registration number and full name. 

    We will investigate the details and contact you back with the steps required. Most of the time, we will require a written report of the VAT-registered garage's findings including the reason of failure, symptoms, any fault codes present, and an estimate of repairs including parts and labour. Please note that any works authorised by you or commenced or completed by a garage without first being authorised by AB Dealers will be invalidated and no consideration will be given. 

    Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)

    At AB Dealers Ltd, we believe we operate in a fair, open and transparent manner and have therefore committed to standards set in The Motor Industry Code of Practice for Vehicle Sales. We are a member of the AA Dealer Promise Code of Practice and we are approved business by the Trading Standards Institute. Should you ever feel the need and your complaint does not relate to finance or insurance products, you can use their free service as an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). 

    The AA Cars will offer free impartial advice and when appropriate, provide a certified Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) service that we are fully committed to in the event you are not satisfied with the outcome of a dispute.

    AB Dealers Deduction Policy

    In the unlikely event that AB Dealers accept the return of your vehicle for a refund, we will require the car to be returned in the same condition as when it was purchased. We will also exercise our right to deduct a reasonable sum of money having taken into account the usage of the vehicle and any failure to keep it in good repair and condition. This will include but not be limited to our right to charge the consumer 45 pence per mile for each mile covered since the date of sale, along with the cost of any estimate for repairs required to any damage to the vehicle's interior and exterior that was caused whilst the vehicle was in your possession.
